Katie has over 20 years experience in Training and Development, including 15 years
in Human Resources, and 12 in management. During this time she created systems,
implemented new departments, hired and trained staff, and then managed the functions
of Administration, Recruitment and Hiring, Personnel, Customer Training and Employee
Training for organizations such as the State of California, the City of Arcata,
Silton-Bookman Systems (an international software company) and the largest Indian
tribe in California (the Yurok Indian Tribe).

run her own graphic arts business for several years, Katie has extensive experience
developing written and instructional materials, including editing and publication
of newsletters for insurance agencies, the California State Controller’s Office,
networking groups, a quilt guild, the Yurok Indian Tribe, and the City of Arcata.
She also uses a graphic vision mapping process
for creating group consensus and vision.
Katie maintains the websites for the Career Life Institute, Women Entrepreneurs
Roundtable and several other sites.
An award-winning webmaster and artist in her "spare" time, Katie considers herself
fortunate to live with her husband and two cats in their wonderful ocean-view
home on California's North Coast.
